Seeking a skilled Systems, Network and Communication Engineer for a pivotal role in a large and complex organisation, optimising diverse system and network technologies. 

What our client can offer:
Our Client, based in the heart of Nelson, prioritises stable and efficient systems, technologies and communication systems. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team within a larger technology group, dedicated to ensuring optimal systems and networks are available to geographically dispersed teams.

What you will do:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continuous availability of systems and networks between field and back office. This role encompasses managing multiple servers (Cloud/365), satellite links, wireless networks, critical business applications, and software vital to operations. You'll also oversee communication links used for a variety of essential tasks, which involves a very hands-on practical element, such as dealing with cabling, power systems, and network hardware.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Proficiency in Systems Engineering, Networking and Security
• Experience with Communication Systems
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot wireless networks and associated software.
• Practical skills in cabling, power systems, and network hardware management.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
