IT Operations Manager

A newly created position, our client seeks a customer centric leader of people and process, to continue to drive service excellence into their IT Support and Engineering disclines.

What you will do:
You will be leading a highly engaged team of Service Desk, Application/Technical Support and Infrastructure engineers, who work in support of their colleagues across Australasia. In a newly created position you will have a significant opportunity to really drive improvement into their service delivery and continue the good work of the teams around you.

We are looking for a leader of people and process, who can really drive the vision of Service Delivery. You’ll have a natural instinct to be out front with the business spotting opportunities for improvement and service excellence, and really championing the needs of the business.

Your work will be made easier by a supportive and highly engaged CIO, and a work culture of support, engagement, fun and team. 

Skills and experience we are looking for:
We are looking for a leader here, not a manager, and someone who can lead the vision of Service Delivery. You’ll enjoy a vibrant, fast paced, ever evolving work environment, and being part of a productive team culture.

Ideally you’ll be able to tick a few of the following:

• Demonstrated IT Management experience in a Service Delivery environment
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships from the very top to the very bottom
• A positive, can do attitude
• Experience with industry tools - ITIL, ServiceNow or similar
• An absolute passion for delivery of IT customer experience (obviously essential)
