What you will do:
You will manage geostatistics product streams. This includes owning product strategy, building customer-informed roadmaps, and guiding engineering on solution design. You’ll translate advanced geostatistical concepts into practical, usable tools and ensure that development aligns with customer workflows across industries.

You will act as a direct point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing expert insights, helping teams prioritise features, and maintaining high standards of delivery. This role requires regular cross-functional engagement, active contribution to planning cycles, and informed product positioning across the broader portfolio.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology with postgraduate qualifications in Geostatistics or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in mineral resource estimation and geostatistical modelling
  • Strong coding capability using Python; comfortable with APIs and SDKs
  • High proficiency in geoscience modelling tools; 
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex domain issues and communicate to diverse audiences
  • Strong customer engagement skills; confident presenting, listening, and building consensus
  • Able to manage shifting priorities and pace without losing focus or momentum
  • Eligibility to work in NZ or relocate; support available for the right candidate
This role is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, or another location that aligns well with New Zealand, South American, or North American time zones. We welcome enquiries from offshore candidates who are remotely based in these time zones or are strongly considering relocation to Christchurch.
