What’s in it for me?
With a proud history in the Christchurch market, our client attracts and keeps the very best Software & Test Engineers. Working locally as part of a larger international company, our client is looking to expand their team with a junior to intermediate level Java Software Engineer. While working locally, you will form part of a larger international engineering team.
What would I be doing?
As a Junior Java Developer you will be developing using enterprise Java technologies (web) alongside a suite of Open Source technologies to deliver a large and complex web solution teamed with complex analytics. We are seeking an enthusiastic, technically minded Java Developer whose real passion is to get under the hood, and work out how and why things work in the world of web, and how they could be improved.
You will need to be very comfortable working with open source technologies and enjoy getting elbows deep with web technologies, front and backend. You will also be excited by the opportunity for team collaboration and personal development that peer programming brings.
