What you will do:
With a focus on Iaas, PaaS and DevOps you’ll guide technical direction across the infrastructure landscape, supporting operational delivery and strategic uplift. You will take responsibility for designing, maintaining, and optimising ICT infrastructure including cloud and on-premise service. This includes leading domain services, partnering with teams to embed platform and automation improvements, and strengthening monitoring and incident response. You’ll also mentor others in best practice, while ensuring platform integrity aligns with organisational and security needs.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Proven experience working with infrastructure for large organisations (150+ users)
• Skilled in Azure, Active Directory, MS SQL Server, virtualisation, networking
• Proven experience with DevOps tools including Terraform, Ansible, GIT, Pipelines is essential
• Working knowledge of IaaS and PaaS environments across public/private cloud
• Strong influencing, coaching, and cross-team communication skills
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical users
• New Zealand working rights are required for this position
• Based in or able to relocate to Canterbury region
