C++ Embedded Software Engineer

To help them achieve their goals they require the services of an experienced Embedded Software Engineer or a junior with a demonstrable knowledge of embedded software engineering principles. 
  
This role could be contract or permanent.

What you will do:
Working alongside an established Senior Software Engineer and within a multidisciplinary team you will assist with design, develop and maintenance of systems, develop and debug low level firmware, work with communication protocols including CAN, RS-485 and Modbus and on-board protocols including I2C and SPI. You will also be required to develop protocols for integration with 3rd party  components and  contribute to testing efforts.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
To be considered for this role you will ideally have 5 years of embedded software development experience and proficient with C++, Python, Embedded Linux, RTOS, CAN, RS-485, Modbus, I2C, SPI and Test Driven Development.

You need to be collaborative,motivated,  possess excellent spoken and written English communication skills, be a problem solver, and be able to juggle conflicting priorities.
