Data Analyst / Excel Guru - Short Term Contract

• Immediate start, up to 3 months
• Professional, collaborative office in Addington
• Advanced Excel skills essential 

What’s in it for me?
This is a great stop-gap for an experienced Data Analyst looking for short term work based here in the garden city. You will be working in a professional, but relaxed work environment in Addington. This could be 20 hours per week for up to 3 months or a full time contract for 4-6 weeks.

What would I be doing?
You will be tasked with the following specific duties:

• Redesigning business critical financial budget and forecast models (Excel spreadsheets) to remove unnecessary macros and overly complex formulas while retaining core functionality.
• Mapping  master data and entering into a master data registry
• Assist with PowerBI if required

What do I need?

• The role requires experience typically gained from a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant Data Analysis or similar role
• You will need a strong working knowledge and proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Knowledge of  and previous experience  working with financial budget and forecast models
• A tertiary qualification is highly advantageous, but not essential if experience is sufficient.
• The ability to commence work in Christchurch within the next 7-10 days
