Network Engineer (6M Contract)

• Drive a full infrastructure upgrade covering firewalls, core switches, wireless and closet-level switching
• Work hands-on with design, configuration, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
• 6 month contract, Christchurch-based with immediate start

What our client can offer:
This is a 6 month contract based on-site in Christchurch. This exciting opportunity will give you the opportunity to take ownership of a critical network infrastructure project and make an immediate impact, with the chance to see it through end-to-end.

What you will do:
This position will be responsible for assessing the existing network, designing and implementing improvements, and deploying new equipment. The role will see you configuring, optimising, and maintaining a secure, high-performing environment across firewalls, switches and wireless networks.

Skills and Experience we are looking for

• 5–7 years’ experience in network engineering
• Strong background with firewalls, switching, and wireless networks
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end network rebuilds and upgrades

This role requires an immediate start, so candidates based in Christchurch and available to begin straight away will be prioritised.
