You’ll be contributing to tools that allow customers to interpret and explore complex information in a true-to-life context - bringing designs, measurements, and field data into clear visual reality.

What you’ll be doing
Working as part of a small, high-performing engineering group, you’ll help deliver mobile and mixed-reality applications used across a wide range of industries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building software that connects with precision geospatial hardware
  
  
• Developing on modern mobile platforms and keeping pace with new Android and iOS capabilities
  
  
• Applying sound engineering practices to ensure quality, consistency, and predictable delivery
  
  
• Collaborating closely with engineers, specialists, and technical experts to understand evolving requirements
  
  
• Contributing to technical discussions, design reviews, and project planning activities
  
  
• Working alongside test engineers to enhance user workflows, troubleshoot problems, and improve the overall product experience

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or research background
  
  
• At least two years of commercial software development experience
  
  
• Hands-on experience creating mobile applications for Android or iOS ideal
  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
  
• Good understanding of collaborative development practices and shared codebases
  
  
• Clear communication skills and enthusiasm for working closely with others
  
  
• A positive, team-oriented approach and motivation to build high-quality products

Bonus skills that would be great to have

• Experience with 3D data or modelling
  
  
• Knowledge of graphics rendering, data structures, or multi-threading
  
  
• Familiarity with integrating external APIs or libraries into mobile applications
  
  
• Understanding of sensor fusion or positioning systems
  
  
• Exposure to hardware communication methods such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or USB
