What you will do:

Analyse and document system requirements for finance and accounting processes.
Work closely with the Systems Analyst to implement improvements.
Support ERP upgrades, integrations, and reporting. Test system changes, validate data, and ensure accurate financial workflows.
Provide guidance on process optimisation within finance systems.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

Strong finance or accounting background, ideally Systems Accountant or similar.
Technical/Business Systems Analyst experience in ERP environments.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Ability to document requirements, analyse workflows, and support system testing.
Contract-based, Christchurch location required.
Work rights to engage in a contract role in New Zealand.
