TimeFiler is looking for an experienced Implementation Consultant to join a small, specialist team delivering complex workforce management solutions to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

As a result of internal growth, TimeFiler is looking for an experienced Implementation Consultant to join their team. This is a customer-facing role responsible for onboarding and implementing TimeFiler's timesheet, rostering, leave, and payroll integration solutions with a particular focus on complex, compliance-heavy clients in Australia and New Zealand.
What you will do:
Working closely with the Australian Implementation Lead, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, methodical environment, enjoys solving complex problems with clients, and is comfortable working across time zones and travelling periodically (days not weeks) to Australia.
You can expect to be working across:
Leading end-to-end system implementation projects for new and existing clients, from initial scoping through to go-live and post-launch support
Working directly with clients to understand their operational and payroll requirements, including complex rostering arrangements, shift patterns, and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)
Configuring and test TimeFiler against client-specific requirements, ensuring accuracy before handover
Translating complex client needs — including requirements that clients may struggle to clearly articulate — into well-structured implementation plans
Delivering training and support to ensure confident adoption of the system
You will serve as a calm, reliable point of contact through the implementation lifecycle, managing expectations and keeping projects on track, as well as identifying opportunities where clients could benefit from additional TimeFiler functionality or service (without a hard sales focus)
Skills and experience we are looking for:
We are looking for proven experience in system implementation, ideally within workforce management, payroll, or HR software. Experience working with Australian payroll — including EBA interpretation, award compliance, and complex rostering — is highly desirable, even if from some time ago.
Candidates with strong New Zealand payroll implementation experience in comparable industries (construction, civil, utilities, shift-based environments) will also be seriously considered. Prior experience at a competing workforce management or payroll software provider is a strong advantage.
