The Digital Specialist role works closely with the CFO, leading the development, planning, and implementation of the company’s digital strategy, including both customer facing, and internal facing initiatives. A key component of this role will be supporting the review of legacy systems with a view to supporting future technology roadmaps, business cases and transformation projects.

The role exists to support both the CFO and business units within the company to incorporate digital strategy and coordinate planned technology initiatives, and will draw heavily upon your diverse skills across discovery, influencing, best practice, process improvement and project delivery.

What would I be doing?
In this full time, permanent position you will work with head office and site staff to:
  • Assist with leading the delivery of the digital strategy for Meadow Mushrooms
  • Work closely with the CFO and across the company to plan, prioritise, and
  • deliver digital initiatives, in a holistic, integrated manner
  • Drive digital capability, user experience and culture across the business
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for digital uptake within the business
  • Champion the uptake of AI initiatives, automation and data governance
  • Coordinate support with 3rd party consultants and support desks across general desktop support, networking, firewall management, and on premise and cloud applications
  • Ensure there is a high level of security awareness and an appropriate culture throughout the organization.
  • Deliver user technology and business application support and training as required
What do I need?
To achieve success in this role you will need a balanced blend of people and technology skills and have at least 5 years experience in the enterprise business application environment. You will have been actively involved with reviewing processes, analysing requirements, implementing and supporting a range of enterprise business applications and be looking for the next step in your career.

A strong working knowledge of the O365 environment is required, with the ability to create and manage power app workflows, and support and build ongoing development within the SharePoint /PowerApps/O365 modern workplace environment. Alongside your technical skills you will demonstrate a mature mindset, excellent spoken and written English, the ability to build rapport quickly to influence others and help them understand not only the “what”and “how” but most importantly, the “why”.

We seek specific skills in:
  • Enterprise Business Systems - eg ERP, CRM, EDI, Business Intelligence
  • Experience participating in application rollout projects - review of processes, requirements analysis, design, deployment
  • Competency with the full Microsoft suite of cloud products (Onedrive, O365, Teams, Sharepoint etc)
  • Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
  • Experience in training and supporting end users
  • The ability to influence key decision makers, building effective relationships across the business
  • The ability to learn and understand the general operation of the business
  • Constructively challenging business processes and working to resolve issues
