We are looking for a mid-level BI Developer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will be central to maturing our Power BI capability - building reusable report templates, designing semantic models across business domains, and productionising existing reports that need stronger foundations. You will work directly with business users across the organisation to understand their data needs and translate these into well-structured, scalable BI solutions on our Snowflake platform.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong stakeholder engagement component. You will be comfortable moving between writing SQL, modelling data, and sitting with business stakeholders/Analysts to work through user story mapping to ensure templates are fit for purpose, standardised and scalable. 

You will design and develop reusable Power BI report templates that create consistency across the organisation. A significant part of the role involves building and maintaining semantic models, refining existing reports, and improving performance through sound data modelling practices. You will write SQL within a Snowflake environment, work closely with data engineering partners, and contribute to schema discussions where required. The position also involves gathering requirements from business users, facilitating workshops, translating reporting needs into scalable solutions, and providing guidance on Power BI tools and reporting frameworks. Documentation, governance compliance, and adherence to BI development standards will also form an important part of the role.
