Technology Lead

The Technology Lead will be a key senior team member, feeding into the digital strategy, and leading operational and improvement workstreams.

Our client is geared for growth, underpinned by significant expansion over the past 18 months. We now seek a Technology Lead, based in Christchurch to help shape the digital strategy and drive operations, leading improvement workstreams and making decisions best suited for the business

What you will do:
A newly created position, key responsibilities will involve:

• Reviewing existing systems (ERP, Data and Reporting) and processes to determine fitness for purpose, and identifying operational improvement opportunities
• Driving automation and streamlining opportunities across the business including implementation
• Working broadly across BI Development, Service Desk, and Systems Engineering to prioritise work and drive efficiency, with a strong focus on process improvement and delivering value.
• Collaborating with the COO on strategy, ideas, and opportunities to further the technology maturation for the business

Skills and experience we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Technologist, who straddles operational and leadership, or looking for their first leadership opportunity. You will need to be a strong collaborator, and keen to challenge the status quo to drive significant improvement. The successful candidate will likely come from a Systems/ERP/Applications background, however have complimentary skills across Support and Infrastructure. You may be in a current IT Management role or looking for that first step.
