Business Process Lead - Finance Transformation (FTC)

• Early stage finance transformation programme
• Broad scope of responsibilities across the programme delivery
• 12 month FTC with scope to continue further

Support the programme manager, working closely with Accounting & Finance Teams understanding current baselines, and looking toward potential future states, improvements, and automation opportunities.

Our client offers a tight knit programme team, embedded within the organisation's Accounting & Finance division. In the early stages of a proposed Finance transformation, this is an excellent opportunity to help drive business improvement, working broadly across people, processes and technology. 

What you will do:
Activities are expected to be broad including understanding the current baseline—technology, people capability, processes—and looking toward potential future states, improvements, and automation opportunities.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager to develop a clear view of what good will look like in the future, and preparing for future transformation activities. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, however with a strong likelihood of further work beyond.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Finance process review, redesign and standardisation
• FMIS implementation, replacement or enhancement
• Financial controls, policies and operating model improvements
• Business requirements, process documentation and continuous improvement
• Business readiness, testing, data/process transition and implementation

Please note - this is an onsite/hybrid role and will require the successful candidate to be based full time in Christchurch. In addition, full NZ working rights are required.
