Our client is a well-established NZ organisation seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to help shape and grow their Salesforce capability.

What our client can offer:
This is a genuine opportunity to get your hands on a broad and evolving Salesforce platform at a pivotal point in the organisation's digital journey. You will be part of a close-knit technology team, mentored by an experienced Technical Lead, and given the space to take ownership of meaningful work. The role offers variety, growth, and the chance to leave your mark on a platform that is central to how the business operates across New Zealand and internationally.

What you will do:
No two days will look the same in this role. You will be involved across the full development lifecycle; from scoping and building new solutions through to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. You will work closely with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders to understand what the organisation needs and deliver solutions that are clean, scalable, and built to last. You will also play an active role in keeping the platform healthy - identifying areas for improvement, tackling technical debt, and staying across Salesforce releases and their impact on the business.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
To be considered for this role you will need to bring:
  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, supported by a relevant degree or diploma in IT or a digital-related field.
  • A current Salesforce certification.
  • Solid working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud.
  • Proven, practical experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical conversations.
  • A proactive approach to your own development - you stay current, pursue certifications, and embrace new tools and practices as they emerge.
The following would be a distinct advantage:
  • Familiarity with Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud Next, Consumer Goods Cloud, Sales Performance Management, Natterbox, or Salesforce Maps.
  • Experience with ERP or PIM system integrations.
Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Canterbury area and hold valid working rights in New Zealand.
