Technical Business Analyst (12M Contract)

• SAP-focused Business Analyst role supporting asset data and integration initiatives.
• 12 Month Contract, based in Christchurch.

Support SAP asset data standards and GIS integration projects, working across technical and business teams.


What our client can offer:
Work on key asset data and system integration initiatives within a complex SAP environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to data standards implementation and improve how asset information is managed across business systems. The role offers exposure to SAP Enterprise Asset Management, GIS integration, data governance and reporting. You will work closely with SAP, GIS and data teams on projects that support better data quality and more consistent reporting.


What you will do:

• Work with business and technical teams to understand current processes, gather requirements and define future-state data models. 
• Review asset master data, data structures and mappings to support the implementation of asset data standards. 
• Help define requirements for two-way integration between SAP and GIS systems, ensuring data remains aligned across platforms. 
• Assess the impact of data changes on reporting, asset registers and related systems. 
• Support data migration, data quality improvements and the delivery of practical solutions.

 
Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst in an SAP environment.
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Experience with asset master data, data mapping, data standards or data migration.
• SAP-GIS integration experience, ideally with ESRI, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP BW, enterprise data warehouses or asset reporting is an advantage.
• Experience in local government, utilities, transport or facilities management is beneficial.
• Must currently be based in Christchurch
• Must hold valid NZ working rights
