- 6 month contract role with potential for ongoing extension

This role will give you the opportunity to work initially both in office and from home, utilising your SQL, ETL and data integration skills within projects of size and complexity rarely on offer within New Zealand. You will play a critical role in the SQL development space as part of a specialist team spread across Christchurch and Auckland.
What would I be doing?
You will be applying your advanced Microsoft SQL development expertise to a number of key business projects, also providing technical leadership and representation of data engineering across the organization.
What do I need?
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of the following;
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related industry
- At least 10 years experience working within a Microsoft SQL environment with strong skills in SQL and ETL development
- Extensive experience in large enterprise environments
- Strong interest in data engineering and development
- Experience in Agile environments
- Exposure to cloud solutions
- Ability to mentor other team members
