What our client can offer:
Our client is a creative tech company that specialises in creating digital experiences using XR technology. Situated in modern, central offices they offer a supportive, collaborative and welcoming team environment where you will contribute to interesting XR development projects and to be involved in R&D opportunities. This is a permanent opportunity that will likely be 30 hours per week for an intermediate developer or 40 hours per week for a junior developer.
What you will do:
In this role you will work closely with the multidisciplinary design team and will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and maintaining scalable web applications. With client projects secured you will need to jump into this role with enthusiasm, initiative and a desire to deliver. You will be required to write and maintain clean code, have a knack for solving technical problems and have an interest in R&D.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
This role is best suited to a junior / intermediate web developer with 1-3 years commercial experience. Ideally you will have cloud computing and cross platform knowledge and experience.
To be consider for the role we are looking for:
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS3 and PHP experience
- MySQL /NoSQL-Mongo DBMS experience
- Version control and package manager experience i.e. GitHub, Composer
- Cross browser development, mobile development, responsive design and performance
- React.Js experience
- Three.js / AR.js experience or a keen willingness to learn
- Agile SDLC experience or a willingness to learn
