Infrastructure (Server) Engineer

What our client can offer:
We have opportunities with some of Christchurch’s largest and most diverse IT environments. Market leaders in their industries, they are proud of what they do, and offer work within some of the South Island’s largest infrastructure environments on business critical projects.

What you will do:
Working in established server teams, you’ll be working on a mix of management security, and stability tasks while also getting involved in large projects, with examples being Cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades and server roll out programmes.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
To be considered for these roles, you will need;

• At least 3 years of infrastructure engineering experience, with experience working in a large enterprise environment
• A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies
• Experience with scripting languages, cloud solutions and management tools
• A full NZ Drivers License
• High level of independence and strong customer service focus
• Demonstrated organisational skills to keep track of all tasks
• Experience working in rapidly changing, fast paced environments
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills

Please note for these roles you must hold the ongoing right to work in New Zealand. Some roles will also require you to travel throughout the South Island so a valid, clean New Zealand drivers license is ideally required.
