What you will do:
This is an exciting and varied role within a handpicked multidisciplinary team. Together you will combine your knowledge and experience across control system software, electronic hardware, systems engineering and applications engineering. You will research and develop new technology, build and test prototypes, close knowledge gaps and document all of your efforts. Employing knowledge Driven Product Principles this role will be focussed on tangible results like working prototypes and possibly piloting programmes with customers. As a Software Engineer you will bring your C++, C# and Python skills across a variety of desktop, embedded and general application development and you will contribute to research, gathering ideas and concepts, manual and automated testing duties, completing detailed documentation, customer liaison and general product design.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
The successful candidate will need to bring a healthy mix of technical, interpersonal and collaboration skills to the table. This role needs a strong team player and communicator, someone who thrives in a fast paced, forward thinking and highly motivated team and someone who can think beyond software in a multidisciplinary engineering team environment.

You must be able to demonstrate:

• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant computer engineering or science field.
• At least 5 years commercial experience as a full stack software engineer using C++, C#, Python, WPF, XAML and Windows based IDE
• Some embedded development experience
• Product Design, Development and Testing experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Real time control system experience
• Knowledge of Electronics, PCBA and STM32 target microprocessors
