Service Desk - Fixed term contract

We’re looking for a self motivated, fun, friendly Service Desk specialist to join our client through until mid 2024. This would be an ideal opportunity for somebody in between roles or on a working holiday visa.

What our client can offer:
One of our favourite clients is adding to their service desk team, covering a period of maternity leave. They offer a fun, flexible, working environment where there is a strong social team environment. This is a fixed term contract initially, through to mid 2024 with an immediate start available but not essential.

What you will do:
Working in a small dedicated support team, you will be supporting internal users spread across New Zealand, by both phone and through a ticketing system. You will have plenty of time to be upskilled in this role before taking the reigns, and will enjoy plenty of support across the contract, while developing your independence.

A typical day will see you responding to technical support issues that impact end users, resetting passwords, access issues, onboarding and offboarding users, alongside day to day requests for technical support.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• A bright, friendly personality
• Ability to build rapport quickly with end users
• A broad range of technical skills
• A strong customer service orientation.

Please note - we need somebody to commence work prior to August, and a valid working visa for NZ is required. While remote work is available, this role is Christchurch based.
